Is Weapons master to powerful?

"Fragile"

This prestige class isn't broken, but should be marked:

"Fragile"

It can easily break with things like Vorpal Weapons, Keen, and two hasted Whirlwind Attacks in one round, with a move in-between them.

Regrettably, the disads (becoming SO focused on one weapon) are really not fun to play. Your Weaponmaster will go from being "belle of the ball" to "nothing at all" as soon as your DM starts dropping undead, constructs, and others immune to crits. Further, a few well placed archers can make mincemeat of your meatgrinder.

I'm not sure if this has been brought up yet, but there are two very easy ways to stop any outlandish WeaponsMaster. Sunder his weapon, or disarm him. As others have mentioned this is a classic prestige example where it becomes really really powerful when it is focused on a single item (a weapon in this case). Remove said weapon and the PC becomes very weak.

It has been errata's that even the WM can only make one Whirlwind/round.

The WM's relative loss of effectiveness against creatures immune to crits is not worse that that of the rogue. Elemental and undead creatures are encountered more often at high levels, so that stays a problem for those classes, but is needed IMO to keep it balanced.
