Someone is selling pdf versions of a lot of 3E books on Ebay. Isn't this illegal? Or maybe I'm behind the times and WOTC actually sells them this way now?

Scarymonkey, you're not wrong. WotC does NOT sell current product this way, and the seller is pulling a fast one. This is BIG-time illegal.

This is nothing compared to one I saw a few months back. He had so many he printed out the contents in a list, and tried to sell them. Once eBay got wind of it they shut the auction down.

Makes me wonder about people sometimes.

If you're going to steal (and he clearly is) why would you stop at just those 6 books? Not that I'm condoning this kind of crap, but why wouldnt you fill up the cd? Maybe he was keeping it under a certain dollar value so they wouldnt be able to charge him with felony theft... I hope they prosecute just the same.
