ISRP not working?

How do I get into the ISRP chat rooms? It appears they are either totally flooded, have moved, or are down. The link on the Wizards.COMmunity chat page links to a "page not found" after a long wait, possibly due to timing out, possibly due to their absence from the Internet as we know it. Am I missing something very obvious? I cannot find any other way to get in. Thanks for the help.

The ISRP chat rooms are on the Wizards Live chat site. There's another link from the community pages which should be to the ISRP websites, which has playing tips and setting info.

Clicking on the chat link should take you to a welcome page and then/or a login page. The login page directly is http://tank.wizards.com/chat/world/html/login.html .
Don't forget that the chat currently works on a different registration to the boards. Your boards name will not automatcally work there, you need to register a chat one.

Clicking on the ISRP link should take you to a "leaving wizards.com" page where you need to confirm if that's what you want to do. The ISRP pages are hosted on a different server. Thats the page that's playing up for me. If you want to go around it, try this link instead (which is where you should have been sent upon confirming anyway...) http://wizo.wizards.com/isrp/

Sort of on that note...My ISRP & emporium banners aren't working. I figure it's probably a 'me' problem, but I wont know unless I ask. Currently it just keeps timing out before loading and claiming there's no connection. Will I have to contact my cache admin...again lol.

It's not just you -- I get that problem on occassion as well, although it doesn't happen all the time.

Try using a different chat client. IE: If you're logging in to the site from the main page using the Java option, try the I-Chat option. I know many things on the site dont' work properly / at all in the other options beyond I-chat.

I've tried on many occassion with the different available options to no avail. This is getting to be a fairly permanent reaction for me. Mind you, I have just changed from dial-up to broadband so that may have something to do with it. Looks like I'll have to contact the service providers. Thanks anyways

I wouldn't freak about the banners. I'm not getting those ones either. I'll be surprised if I hear of anyone that does. lol!

As mentioned, there's many things not working for us at the moment for which I can only appologise. The techs do know about a lot of it (I won't be so presumptious to say "all of it" ). Some things are being resolved. Just dont ask me which. ><

On a side note, for those players who have recently had trouble with the registration of new names we've been assured that the problem has been fixed.

If anyone says "again", I'll give them hell.

lol! Everyone should get some, unless they're using Cheetachat which doesn't use banners at all. Some banners are still working. I'd be surprised if someone still gets all the banners.
