This is just to announce that the third issue of THE PORTAL, The free E-zine dedicated to the Lejendary Adventure RPG by Gary Gygax, has been uploaded and is now available for download.
'Lotta trials and tribulations endured to get this one out, and I appreciate your patience. I wanted to take a second to thank all of you who contacted us with offers of help and encouragement, and if I missed anyone in my attempts to respond.... THANKS!!
We're hoping that there's that a little something here for everyone. A quick run-down of material being offered this time around:
THE HAND OF HEKA - Gary Gygax gives us a sneak peek at a little of the material from the upcoming Lejendary Pantheons, being published by Troll Lord Games and hitting the shelves 'soon'.
THE SCENIC ROUTE - We take a gander at The Grand Duchy of Ksarvina, with 27+ Adventure Ideas to keep the area interesting (and deadly).
AMONG THE POPULACE - The Divinist Order, an attempt at expanding the role of diviners in the world of Lejendary Earth (unofficially of course) is also presented, along with a few items of extraordinary nature to aid them.
THE MENAGERIE - Described are a few creatures from Slavic mythology, a not-so-nice Deity from the Dark Realms of Peklo, and some monsters of the mountains and hills.
THE EXTRAORDINARY LIFE - More arcane treasures with which to reward or torment your players.
RANDOM ENCOUNTERS - The Dread Mists of Fairdale... A Mini-Adventure.
TOOLS OF THE TRADE - Mapping Paper! Hex, rosette, geodesic, and graph... Print it as you need it! And for those of you who like to draw your maps on computer, without benefit of the various mapping software available, we uploaded the original .gifs to The Portal website so you can download them as well
As I said, should be a little something there for everyone... Come and get while it's HOT!
