Issues with the Monster Builder (D&DI)

I subscribed to D&D Insider recently and have spent the better part of the last week downloading and reading various Dungeon and Dragon issues. The character builder is amazing and didnt disappoint (though to be fair, I already knew how awesome it was because of the downloadable demo). The monster builder, at least at first, seemed equally amazing.

However, it is prone to crashing. A lot. I can view and tinker with monsters all I want, but it crashes every time (and i mean every single time) I try to:

* copy a monster stat block as rich text
* copy a monster stat block as an image
* open the monster "Zuvexus"

The additional (and appearently totally random) crashes are just glazing on the cake. I have the latest update and my PC is just a few years old. What the **** is the problem? Does it crash like this for everyone?

Although I cannot say why you might be having the issue, I can say that it does not happen to everyone. I don't believe it has ever crashed on me.

I have never had any of that happen to me. Is it possible that your download got corrupted in any way?

If you re-install it, does it still do the same things? (Only do this if you aren't bumping up against the 5-update limit.)

On my older PC it takes about 15 seconds to register the copy as image, but no crashing. On both my office PC and my laptop it works fine. You might post in the Monster Builder forum and see what they might suggest.

What language are you running your Windows machine on?
I had it crashing all the time but when I changed my language settings (after tips on the Monster Builder forum) it stopped.

After some tinkering we found that all you had to do was change how decimals are marked (they should be with a . not a , to work).
I don't know how much this bug is still active, but it might be worth a try.
