Odhanan Adventurer Oct 24, 2006 #7 Cotton or isolation wool with light sprayed black paint for the mushroom (with the cotton/stuff being glued to a cardboard tube for base shape, like a toilet paper's cardboard tube), and a range of ochre/brown/black for the shockwave. Great effect!
