It's funny, I was reading down the thread saying 'yes... yes...' as I read peoples comments; then I read this

and suddenly I found my eyes wanting to water and a little choke in my throat.

My wife has agreed to watch through the films with me, and we've had the first half of Fellowship so far... she doesn't read much but I hope she'll give the LotR a go
