Item of Value: to pay for expensive spells

So, there are a number of spells in which take an amount of money to cast.
How about a device that, once a day, pays that amount, only for that spell?
For an Identify, for example, it would be a big pearl cup like thing with a value of:

1000 gp

(100 x 50/5)

The caster would still have to cast the spell, but that part of the compenent of the spell would be taken care of.

What thinks you all?

I think you'd go further with a bag of enhanced pearls. Each having an intrinsic value (for spellcasting) of 1000gp. A pearl could be destroyed in the casting. When you run out of pearls you need to make some more.

I'd charge 50 to 100 times the cost of the material component for a replacement Focus component.

So, 5k to 10k for an item of Free Identify casting. More for an item of Free Stoneskin Casting. :)

Well, yes, an item would be 50 x base cost.
But if the item only does it once a day, then 1/5 the cost.
Similiar for stone skin.

I'd prefer an item which could supply the costly material component for any spell.

One per spell (or type of component) is just a bit too specific.
