It's a Jungle Out There!

I just bought myself an xbox (really fun...never thought I'd turn away from my computer gaming routes but its worth it for the 16 player Halo Lan parties...and that controller big controller is just perfect!)...anyway...I've been looking around on the internet for various reviews/previews/release dates etc. I've stopped into maybe half a dozen message boards and posted or browsed.
Its all one big mess.

I've been Coming here so long and staying away from other message boards for so long that I'd forgotten just how bad it is out there. The mods only close threads that have turned into complete flame wars. People are getting criticized for any differing view point. Blaa! Makes me glad to have Enworld!

A big factor, IMO, is the friendly attittude everyone has to new posters and ocassionally-posting lurkers. It helps a lot to be able to get some fresh perspectives from new people or those who either don't like posting a lot or don't have the time.

Have fun with that X-Box but I think we'll see your post count stagnate for a while...
