Because the US is an only child. Everyone is saying we're the hottest country. We're the bestest country in the history of countries. No one has seen a country like US before.

This is the first Christmas in probably 20 years I got no gaming-related gifts - well, I did get a t-shirt with a d20 on it.
No boardgames, dice, minis, paint, brushes, rulebooks, or video games.

I did get a President James Garfield Pez dispenser - so that was nice.

Hope the post-posting parts of Christmas went well for everyone too!

We had fifteen for Christmas-eve dinner at my dad's - including the three of us staying for a week and a half, four just for dinner, and seven who were here for two nights and just left. Wow is it quiet now!!!!

(And wow do we have a lot of leftovers for lunch and dinner today).
