Well, after a lengthy hiatus -- largely related to the misery and lack of time created by my previous employer -- I am and active on the EN World Boards. I've missed you all, and your unique brand of witty banter and shrewd gaming insights.

There's no place like home :).

BTW, what have I missed these past six or seven months?

23 threads about the "oldest d20". :)

12 threads about AoO and Cleave.. (I did one of them.. whoops!)

Some amazing community support of ENWorld.

Welcome back Quickbeam. Hope things are going well for you. How was Alex's wedding? I hope they are doing well and its great to see you back. :D

Nice to see you back man:)

Glad to hear that your employment woes have subsided, and that you can now direct your energies back where they belong!

Sorry to hear that the Wings are as injury plagued as they are (well, not too sorry ;))

Each one of your posts deserves and individual reply, so here goes...

Hypersmurf:
Which of the aforementioned events drew the most Board attention? I'm betting it's the nifty Off-Topic Forum.

Kender42:
Beyond sending Morrus to GenCon (which was an awesome idea I was proud to participate in), what other community support took place? And as for the AoO and Cleave threads, was anything new or enlightening determined?

Crothian:
Good to hear from you! Things are definitely much better now, thanks for the kind wishes. Alex and my sister had a fabulous wedding, and my Best Man's speech properly noted all of their fine (and flawed) qualities. Heck, I had something like 18 years of material on Alex, and a lifetime's worth on my baby sis. I rambled on in true Entish fashion for well over 10 minutes. And even though a HUGE thunderstorm rolled in and let loose over their outdoor ceremony, the rabbi gamely continued through to the conclusion...which many of the guests did not :D !! Perhaps we will send you some photos.

Barendd:
Did you see me? Huh, did you?!? I was right behind Treebeard, on patrol along the perimeter of Isengard.

William Ronald:
Funniest comment I've read in ages. Thanks for the laugh!

Mark:
Good to be back.

T-Bill:
Thank you, thank you. How are things with Tea? Set a date yet...or have I missed your wedding in my lengthy absence?

As for the Wings, I have two remarks.
1) Just wait 'til we get healthy.
2) Pavel Datsyuk is a witch, and the scariest player in the NHL when he's controlling the puck. I've been saying it for three years, now everyone else knows too.

I hope you are all doing well, and thanks for taking the time to chime into my little return to the Boards thread!
