:D If we hadn't just dropped $2k on a new laptop, I'd probably do just that! The spousal unit's a fantasy/sci-fi fan -- I'm going to be travelling the day ROTK comes out, and she made me promise I wouldn't go see it until I get back and can take her -- but she's odd about seeing movies/TV shows or rereading books a 2d time; she can't stand repeats, while I happily reread LOTR about twice a year. Though she did say she liked seeing TTT again when I dragged her to the theater the second time (we we just taking her dad to see it, I swear :D ) Spousal Unit: "You're watching that again?" Olgar: "This time it's the art director's commentary on FotR. It's not like I'm just watching the DVD again ... (sotto voce) like I did yesterday." Spousal Unit:  So the TTT EE battle goes like this: Olgar: "But it's got forty minutes of new scenes!" Spousal Unit:  Guess I shouldn't have weakened my position by buying the theatrical release too. :) Olgar: "They're different cuts! Almost like different movies!" Spousal Unit:  Ah, well -- I'm holding one of her 1E character sheets for ransom, just so she can't claim she isn't a geek too (though she hasn't played since Jr. High).
