It's official. My D&D group has dissolved.

Merak - all is not lost. Email me. Hmm, Graywolf, you emailed me a month or two back right? Maybe we need to get a little more coordinated and start having more players ask us for a game and if one of us is full, we can refer to each other?

I'm kind of lucky in that I have a pretty solid group of 8 players, and I am a player in a 6 person group. But yeah, losing a group is sad.

We have a pretty solid 6 as well, going on 8 if the 2 new guys work out this Friday.

Did you try posting in the forum looking for new players? Might be some in the ABQ area without a group.

I might be able to work something out for alternate weeks, I enjoy a good game, for sure. Or periodic games for that matter.

OK, I have been able to check my email and I can see that I confused Graywolf with somebody else. My apologies. On the other hand, Hi there! It's great to meet another Albuquerque gamer.

If I find ay gamers looking for a game, I will let you know Merak.

Thumbs pressed. But it looks like there are many gamers over there ... Didn't meet some though when I was in Santa Fe and Taos ;)

I am surprised. Santa Fe is"The City Different" Many odd people up there, and at least a few gamers I've known in my time fall into that category. How did you like the High Desert area here?

I think part of the problem contributing to my group losing interest in the game was that everybody seemed to want to run a campaign. Near the end we were running 4 campaigns in rotation, with different characters, different DMs, and different homebrew worlds.
This is very symptomatic of RPG burnout. I saw that in the past. We stopped for 3 to 6 months (I can't recall), but then the urge to play was felt by the players, more then any other dissuading factors (in your case, that everybody wants to run a campaign).

After a few months of withdrawal, you guys will not care about who runs it, you will simply want to GAME.I know it sucks not playing for a while, but that's what CRPG's are for.

Placebo.
