Iuz in Third Edition

Questions for those more knowledgeable than I: Can anyone provide me with bibliographic information regarding Iuz in Third Edition products? (Anything would be great.) I've seen tidbits here and there, but nothing terribly substantial. Was Iuz ever given statistics, as were other Oerth deities? Is there more information regarding the Old One published for Living Greyhawk that was made available only to the RPGA?

Thanks in advance,

Kris

I think he was statted out in an early 3rd edition issue of Dragon, but I can't remember which one (and can't look it up, since I'm not at the house) :\

EDIT: Found it on Paizo's website - issue #294. Here's a link to that issue Iuz, the old

That's a great issue, by the way. It's the one that brought me into the Dragon fold, so to speak. It not only includes stats and background for Iuz, but for Rao, Pholtus and Tharizdun, too.

Also, the Living Greyhawk Deities v.2.0 pdf is availalbe on WotC's Living Greyhawk page. (Living Greyhawk Information > Campaign Documents > Living Greyhawk Deities v.2.0) The entry on Iuz is brief, but it's essentially the same as what you find in the Living Greyhawk Gazatteer with a few minor additions (such as Mind and Tyranny domains) and an extra sentence or two tacked on to the end.

Also, Expedition to the Ruins of Greyhawk contains a new write-up of Iuz in the Introduction (history) and Appendix (deity listing) and adds Suffering to his list of domains, as well.

Thanks for the additional information--very helpfull. Does Expedition to the Ruins of Greyhawk contain updated statisitics for Iuz by any chance?

More questions for those more knowledgeable: Has there ever been anything substantial written about Iuz's two organisations, the Boneheart and the Boneshadow? Specifically, is there much written regarding specific individuals, leadership, agents, etc., within these organisations?

2E Iuz the Evil and The Marklands had information on the terror inspiring Boneheart. Great and diverse personalities sure to throw your players into unforeseen fits of cowardice.

They don't actually list his statistics in block format, but they do mention some of them: "Iuz is a 30 HD outsider cleric 20/assassin 10..." and so on. Most of it appears to be in line with what's in Dragon #294.

There's some additional info on Vayne (from the BH) in Expedition to the Ruins of GH, as well as some more recent articles/adventures in Dragon/Dungeon IIRC. I'm away from my books, however, so I can't be more specific than that, sorry.
