Iuz the Evil

One of the Greyhawk threads reminded me of 'Ivid the Undying'. Something that elaborate and setting intensive usually doesn't float my boat, but I enjoyed reading it. This one is available for download at rpgnow. I'm considering it, but wanted the consensus from the older gamers as to its quality.

Did you like it? What did you like about it? And a specific example of a bit of setting material that caught your 'imagination'.

I haven't read that material in a couple of years, so my memory is pretty fuzzy. I liked it because it described a lot of the upper-teirs of Iuz's nation, such as his elite cadre of wizards, the Boneheart. It was good for a campaign where the players would be actively working against Iuz and spending a lot of time in his lands.

Very good suppliment. I highly recomend it if you like post wars Greyhawk stuff. If you dug Ivid then Ius is a must.

I always loved Iuz the Evil, he was the perfect bad guy. Sadly I dont have any printed material on him anymore, can anyone tell me where I can find some or print some out?

Some good material in this supplement, but this was when TSR was trying to turn Greyhawk into another Realms and created "canon" and other material to upset a DM..,

Hi jasamcarl mate! :)

Personally I have found everything by Carl Sargent to be fantastic.

In this respects Ivid the Undying is the same excellent quality 'The Marklands'* or 'Iuz the Evil'.

*Often forgotten in the shadow of Iuz the Evil.
