That is sad to hear
His game balance left somethings to be desired but he was by far the best game author ever when it gets to conveying the atmosphere and making you want to play. I stil get goose-bumps when I read some of the parts of "Ivid" or the "From the Ashes".

Hi Sean,

thanks for stopping by to shed some light on the matter.

IIRC, Carl Sarget got in a very serious car accident in the mid-90's (not long before I started at TSR) and I think he's been largely unable to work and/or focusing on recovering from that.

I sincerely wish Carl and his family all the best.

I just wanted to chime in with more support of Carl. I thought his stuff was great and am sorry to hear about the accident.
