Jaggerbad Skyhouse

Well, I just had my first article published in Dungeon magazine: Jaggerbad Skyhouse! It's about a tavern strapped to the back of a dragon.

It's designed for paragon and epic campaigns, but my intention was to open it up for the heroic tier too (there's a suggested hook in there that an adventuring group could start their careers as cursed staff members on board the skyhouse).

I have to say, one of the best things about getting an article published in Dungeon is seeing the art they produce for it! In this particular case, I think I've been very lucky. I've also heard back from a few people saying they'll use the setting in their games, which is fantastic. If you do end up introducing it into yours, I'd love to know how it goes!

Gratz on getting an article published! And I got to say that the idea is awesome :). When I have more time I will look into it and consider adding it to my campaign I will be starting late Feb.

Thanks for all the positive comments! Some of you may be interested to read the side-trek that I've written, which I've just published on my blog. It's set onboard Jaggerbad Skyhouse, and details a strange, dreamlike journey through the tavern's upper floor. One player runs their own PC, but all the other players take on one-shot characters from the inn's serving staff (including a talking badger). When I introduced the tavern into my own campaign, this is the encounter that I ran.
