Jamis Buck and 3.5?

I think Jamis' decision to move away from the field was largely due to his family situation (a new child). Unless he finds himself suddenly with a lot of time on his hands I doubt he would return to spruce up his tools for 3.5.

On the other hand, I would imagine that if he were approached about someone else taking on the task, he'd probably enthusiastically support it.

I'd be happy to do the updating but I have no way of contacting Mr. Buck to get the source code. If someone could put in touch with him maybe we can get them updated.

No, I don't have Mr. Buck's e-mail address. I guess I was being kind of snarky - sorry about that.

If no one can track him down, then this could be an opportunity for some clever hacker to reverse-engineer his generators and re-code them for 3.5. Or something - I don't really know what I'm talking about.

Hoooo boy. Back to lurking. :o

If someone is going to update this program, please keep the stat block format the same (for programs like DM Genie) and please...please..please support the PCGen PCG character file format (which it does support now). There are a bunch of people who use PCGen and his character generator.

If you need any help with the character file format or if you have any questions, join the PCGen yahoo group and post there :)

I haven't seen his source code with with any luck upgrading to 3.5e will be just a matter of changing some variables and constants.

It would be nice if his generator were updated to 3.5 (and maybe include the ToH monsters, too) but you know what? Even with 3.5, I'll still be using it.

Who cares if some NPCs have a few more hps than normal, or have a few more/less skill points? Meh.

Ever since the patch from Codemonkey I'm an eTools junky. I can't wait for the 3.5 update. And you can bet I'll be buying the expansions or whatever they call them.
