Heya:

Just finished playing Fire Emblem. It's a GBA game, but I played it on the GameCube since the controller is way too itsy bitsy. Just started Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, also for the GBA. And I _just_ noticed there's no Select button on the GameCube controller. That's highly annoying. I'm going to check and see if there's an alternate controller available. Grr.

For turn-based fans, the GBA (with or without a GameCube) is a pretty cool option.

Take care,

Read your GBP instruction book (p7-8), there are two sets of button settings you can choose from in the menu screen

I´m playing Shadows of Undrentide for the second time, taking Deekin with me as soon as possible, this guy is so funny :D

Dark Age of Camelot, MMORPG. Been playing since September, actually, almost exclusively except for quickie browser-based games. Got a hankering to re-install the Baldur's Gate line as well....

Right now everything I'm playing is on the X-Box.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer - The one that came out exclusivly for the X-Box. Good, but some of the fights get quite difficult.

BTVS: CHaos Bleeds - Also good, but sometimes the controls don't feel as good as the other one.

Crazy Taxi 3 - It's not nearly as good as the Dreamcast version, but it's still a hell of a lot of fun.

Need for Speed: Underground - I hate racing games, but I am loving this game. I orignally rented it because my sister wanted to try it, but decided to give it a try.

Baulder Gate: Dark Alliance - Kind of fun, but I hate how far over head the camera is. This is definetly a rental.

That's about it for now.

I've been giving my much neglected PS2 some attention of a late.

Medal of Honnor: Frontline - Almost finished this one, I think I prefer mouse and keyboard for FPS over a PS controler though.

Robot Alchemic Drive - Gaint robot battling and city smashing fun! Fun game with a uniqe way of controling your robot. Though horrid voice acting really hurts the game.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Encounters in Space - Great game. May not be for non Gundam fans.

Suikoden II - Playing this one for the first time. Awesome RPG I don't know why I waited so long to play this.

Another person playing Fire Emblem. Pretty cool little game. I got it and Advance Wars 2 (along with a GBA) for Xmas.

It's amazing how good both of these games are. Why can't the PC get turn based games like this? I guess because 2D is dead on the PC, and the GBA is probably the last gasp for the genre. But fun while it lasts, I guess.

Advance Wars 2 is especially impressive. It reminds me of the Perfect General, only more complex.

Also, Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 on the PS2. One of the best racers I've ever played (though I've always liked the series).

And All-Star Baseball 2004 for the Xbox. I got it cheap, being last year's game, but it's actually pretty fun, it has a very deep simulation mode. And it has a manage only mode. Which is good, because I can't figure out how to hit in arcade mode.

And Makin' Magic for the Sims. Pretty fun, though after changing drivers trying to fix my Adobe Acrobat Reader problems, the Sims is now completely unstable. Sigh.

Neverwinter Nights with the latest expansion-Hordes of the Underdark...but strictly multiplayer. I don't really enjoy the single player games...
