Just thought you should know.” Ardor is brought up to date about the masks, and the cult of Usamigaras. He suggests going back upstairs to the second tier to explore. A convert. We hardly ever get one of those. The boss man needs to know follow us!” The group passes the ladders up enters the eastern part of the ziggurat and down to the cult leaders room. We don’t keep secrets from each other!” He moves his chair over the secret trap door. “How did you get in? Beware the undead on the levels below. Take these three potions of healing for your journey. Go forth and slay the cult of Zargon!”</p><p></p><p>Ardor, “Could we just take a short rest in the other room?” Being wise they only take a sample of honey from the hive and not any money from the church coffers. Exploring the rest of the level, they loot a dead goblin and kill two lizards.</p><p></p><p>Emil, “I take the dead priest robes and give Ardor the hawk mask.”</p><p></p><p>Moving down tier four they leave the polka dotted kids coffin alone. Zig zagging, they peek into a room full of skeletons. Moving on they open the mummy’s room and Eaden near gets impaled by a rapier. The group move on and meets a ghost.</p><p></p><p>King Alendria,” I am King Alendria. Welcome adventurers. Please don’t die taking on the Zargon cult. Please mind the secret door and the trapped hallway behind the secret door. My wife is undead and don’t mess with her. Please have some Gorm followers come down and clean this section.” He disappeared without answering any more questions.</p><p></p><p>Emil and Eaden pull out their wand of secrets. Finding the secret door on the nearby wall, and the secret door behind the secret door. And the trap door behind the secret door which is behind the secret door. They decide to leave the trap door alone and move down the red and white checked board hallway.</p><p></p><p>Ardor, “You did do your wand thingy on this hallway.”</p><p></p><p>Emil, “No Eaden was supposed to do it.”</p><p></p><p>Eaden, “I thought you were going to do it!”</p><p></p><p>Ardor, “what was that click? Never mind trap. Rogue do rogue stuff. And you help archer!”</p><p></p><p>Eaden, “First trap no problem. Second trap. Ouch. Second trap Ouch. Second trap Ouch! Would you please hold the light in the right place Emil? Finally, Third trap no problem. Hey guys it will take us about then minutes to dig out the rest of the hallway. And look the burial chamber.”</p><p></p><p>Ardor moves forward to check out the loot. He sees the Spirt of Halloween on one coffin.</p><p></p><p>Advanced D&D Spirit, “CLICK!”</p><p></p><p>Emil, Styx, Eaden, “What was that click?’</p><p></p><p>Ardor, “I didn’t hear a click.?</p><p></p><p>Advanced D&D Spirit, “Everyone but the paladin heard the click. Paranoid much adventurers!” The group move on to the queen’s chamber where the divine sense of Ardor shows undead.</p><p></p><p>Emil, “Donning the blue robe and mask of Gorm, I approach the coffin. Gorm bless this coffin and may the spirit of the queen get her lawful rest.”</p><p></p><p>DM, “What, what?”</p><p></p><p>Book, “Can he do that?”</p><p></p><p>Queen Zanobis, “It has been ages since the Gorm cult has paid respect to me. Hey paladin my eyes are down here. Keep your greedy little eye off the crown. So Gorm priest, why are you here?”</p><p></p><p>Emil, “We desire information on the horn of Zargon and.”</p><p></p><p>Queen Zanobis, “I have been dead for centuries and you want information about the CURRENT layout of my crypt. Don’t make me get out this coffin and go Queen on you. I will Queen you so hard your mother will feel it. I will lay down such a Queening that you will shake in fear until you are ninety. Get out of here.” The group retreats and moves on to the King’s chamber.</p><p></p><p>The King’s girlfriend is still here after all these years. She is upset with the tomb robbers and wails at them to go away. Eaden drops mostly dead and combat is on. Some nice honey nut cheerios and sword slinging the lady in wailing is dead.</p><p></p><p>We pick this up in B43 next week.</p><p></p><p>DM Note Trading Items is in the player’s guide.
