Jeez... Encounter Contest?!?

I really don't want to sound too critical about this, but when you say, "I'll put up the next heat later today." it'd be nice if you got to it before the weekend was over at least.

Are you just not having fun with running the contest, Morrus? The whole thing seems like you're paying very little attention to it, from the foot dragging on the heats, to the lack of front page announcements, and the non-stickiness of the polls (even though these things have been requested several times).

I know that running a website with daily updates is time- consuming and a lot of work, and I also know that my complaints amount to mere pissing in the wind until I've walked in your shoes. But those of us who entered the contest put some effort into our entries... I just want to see the contest handled with the same amount of effort.

Sorry if this comes off as harsh (it's not meant as a personal attack)... I'm just getting a little impatient here.

Since my intention wasn't to "call him out", and since I'm quite sure that there are others who are looking for answers in regards to the contest, I chose to make it public (though I guess maybe it does belong in Meta).

Nail actually managed to strike a better tone in his note... I'm very appreciative for the wonder and magic that is ENWorld, but my concerns about the contest are legitimate.
