It's nice to know that Jim Ward's latest 900 words is out, but I really don't feel like letting this thread continue unless it has something to say about the point he makes in the article. ENWorld is not about ad hominem attacks - it's about discussion.

If there is nothing constructive to say about his column, I will close this thread.

Go ahead and close it. I just thought it was funny that he did something in his 900 Word that if I remember right he attacked Psion over in one of his reviews.


If we do want to keep it open though one thought does come to mind.

For all the bad products and poor reviews that Fast Forward has gotten they sure have ramped up the big name area of their products. I was quite surprised with some of the names listed as people coming in to do work for them.

He has a very good point of places not reordering books. I hadn't realized that places would rather have the new stuff on a topic then the old stuff on the same topic.

I am not a fan of Jim Ward. But the 900 word essay was okay and interesting. But what did he do that he critized Psion for??
