5. The sword kicks the madlands; defends against the cut of the spirit!

*Knowing his opponent will call upon his best move to beat him, he drops into Zanetetsu stance (sword) and kicks madly while defending against the cut of the Fire Bird Spirit*

Orlandu may think he sees the move coming, but swinging his staff fiercely, Jin Chi reverses the strike, spins around and annihilates the monster with the force of the blow coming from the opposite direction.

4. The phoenix annihilates the island; conceals the foray of the rain!

Knowing your opponent's move before he does it is good strategy. But defending yourself from it still takes skill and Jin Chi move was more skillfull.

Jin Chi's Next Set:

1.The snake rains upon the madlands; blocks the foray of the heart!
2.The west wind appears on top of the forest; vigorously absorbs the terror of the invisible blade and flips upon the stab of the eyes!
3.The crab shreds the valley; parries the efforts of the steam!
4.The jaguar eliminates the lake and angrily removes the stone; silences the onslaught of the earth!
5.The crab demolishes the volcano; shields against the chi of the thorn!

Jin Chi attempts to finish the match with a crushing blow to the top of the gigantic Orlandu's head, followed by a crushing parry which brushes aside the sword as if it were invisible, finally meeting the larger warrior's steely gaze with one of his one, and forcing the troubled giant to look away first.

*a bit surprised by his opponents attack, he goes into Old Wise Frog Style, calling an immense storm in the forested valley to disperse the winds. He then wards off Jin's steely glance with a kick *

With Jin Chi's lack of offense but very strong defense against Orlandu's strong attack and weak defense the Judge has a hard time deciding.
