Wow, it's so quiet here and truth did such a good job of setting this up. I feel asleep on this ep last night which means that it has one more episode to get better or I am casting it down from my Tivo machine.

It seemedthe ep was about him following some girl through her life so she could meet her dad? That's at least what i got from it.

Actually, so she could meet someone else in the hospital her dad went to and save his life. But yeah, both he and his wife seem to have forgotten that he proved that he's time travelling.

Also, will the brother now remember receiving a supposed counterfeit $20 ten or more years before it was printed?

That was probably how they developed the design!

Boring episode, not sure of the continued rate of information, so I doubt I'll follow it. I like the stories are a bit more of a twist than a simple "save blah so she helps folks", but the intricacy doesn't elevate the show enough for me. That aside from the obvious fact that his current life can't possibly work, long run, and I can't imagine constantly having to deal with Wife Arguments.

I quite enjoyed it, quite a bit better than the first one, and downright good, imo. I do agree that they'll need to take this somewhere else, do something broader than just the story-of-the-week, but if they manage that, I'll be set.

I disagree about him proving he time traveled last week -- he could have put the toolbox and newspaper and a copy of her ring there 7 years earlier right before building the patio.

This week, though, vanishing off of a 747 mid-flight, that's much more solid proof.

I only saw one episode of this show, but it very much reminded me of The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. It was a wonderful book. The main character randomly travels through time like the main character in Journeyman, but the book is focused on how this affects him and his wife. The first two chapters in the book are her meeting him the first time and him meeting her the first time. Because of the time travel, they each have a different point in time when they first met. I'd recommend it to anyone who even remotely likes the TV show.

If my wife claimed to be time traveling, I would be in denial even after the first round of proof.

But she's a superhero! They always have these sort of things happening to them! :)
