July 22 Game

I can do the same thing with a human... no problem... I don't know any organizations in the 'verse, but I'd shoot for the "Teal'c" aspect in the team/party makeup (muscle, but has his area of expertise and a spirituality)

May I use the character I rolled up (but did not have a chance to use) last time?

I was actually hoping you would, Vince. Allen was a noble with a ship, Jason was a hotshop pilot and your guy was a soldier or Marine, right?

Why don't we show up at the Casa de Darlage at 3 p.m., make characters until 4 p.m. and get the game started then? I know there are several copies of the rules floating around the gaming group, so if everyone would bring those, that would be great.

For anyone unfamiliar with the Firefly/Serenity style, think Wild West in space. Most weapons are slug-throwers, most people are just trying to make a living on harsh worlds on the edges of society and there is a benevolent but oppressive central government trying to enforce their version of peace and harmony on everyone in the 'verse. There is still room for a man to make a dishonest living, but only if he scrambles.

Hiya the mythical Kevin-who-I-have-yet-to-meet. I am planning on running Traveller using Marc Miller's Traveller (otherwise known as T4) which came out in the mid-90s. Not old-school Traveller from the 70s and early 80s, nor Traveller 2300, nor Traveller the New Era, nor MegaTraveller, nor GURPS Traveller nor even Traveller T20.

I have to wonder, if Traveller is the setting translated into the most game systems over the years.

Thanks ,
See ,I'm not just a figment of Vincent's imagination.
That is one set that I do not have so (unless I can borrow a set from my gaming club prior to Saturday )I will roll up a character then .
