July content up

I thought the big MB update including the new statblock conversion was happening in July?

Promises and no delivery will be the death of the subscription model.

Can you cite anything that says that? I keep hearing about these broken promises and they're usually speculation from the community as opposed to statements from the Devs.

Edit: Damn you R1.

I think a lot of their "promises" are things people make up. I haven't seen anything official about the new stat blocks for the monsters, just a lot of people speculating about it.

From Chris Champagne, DDI Studio Director:

June 2010 Character Builder and Adventure Tool News

No Monster Builder Update This Month:

We’re implementing the new Monster statistics block in our database, and we need to do more testing to make sure all the monsters get converted over properly from previous sources. This month’s upload was less than 30 creatures from HS1 – The Slaying Stone adventure and Dungeon® Issue 177. So get ready for the new stat block when we update with Monster Manual III creatures in the July 6th update. (Apologies for the delay, and we’ll keep you posted on our progress before next update.)

I will poke Trevor to find out about the status of the update.

Well a shameless cross-post here, but if you check out my adventure list you'll see the last non-Scales of War epic adventure was last released in Dungeon 162, Winter of the Witch, a level 22 adventure. So yes it has been 17 issues since the last non-AP Epic adventure.

That is a real shame.

I guess it's time to stop whining about it, pull out my pens, paper and later my microsoft word and write one.

VIVA LE EPIC TIER!!!!

Yeah and there's only 3 in the whole run that aren't SoW (Dungeon 159 & 160).

Maybe once I get my MM3 I'll try my hand at an adventure... probably not though
