[July] What are you reading?

If everyone promises not to laugh at me then I'll tell you that I'm reading Julie Kenner's Aphrodite's Secret. Yes it's technically classified as a romance novel, but it's actually all about Superheroes and their mortal loves. It combines zany action with very light reading that's actually fun and requires no brain cells.

After that then I'll read Lonesome Dove.

I just finished my 15th Jake Logan western earlier so I'm between books again. I haven't decided if I want to read another western or try to tackle Peter Staub's Shadowland next.

I just finished a crime novel from Elmore Leonard called Unknown Man #89. I don't read a lot of stuff that's not sci fi or fantasy but recently got hooked on Leonard's stuff.

Just finished the new Harry Potter. Going to read either The Queen's Necklace by Teresa Edgerton or Clarissa Oakes by Patrick O'Brian next.

Still reading the latest Harry Potter book. Its been much too hot lately to read, but tonight I'm at working and reading off an on. Even if the AC isn't working here...

Arg! how did that come out without me knowing? Now I have to make a trip to the book store. Timing isn't bad though since I just finished Shatterpoint.

I also just bought the Penumbra Fantasy Bestiary and have started reading it. There are some things I've read seem pretty weird, but those are very much outnumbered by the cool stuff.
