Jumping and getting hit

Okay, the short of it:

Player X wants to jump out of a window onto NPC Wizzie Y. NPC Wizzie Y is protected by a large construct (name changed to protect the innocent and all that). Construct X gets AOO from player entering threat range. Construct X hits Player X for lot of dmg.

Does Player X:

A) Continue his momentum and hit NPC Wizzie Y?

B) Get his momentum stopped and fly against the building he was jumping from?

C) Explode into green slime?

D) All of the above.

IMO Player X will finish his move/attack.

If they were on flat ground and Player X had moved past Construct X (through threatened space) to hit Wizard Y then Construct X would get an AOO and Player X would get to hit Wizard Y.

The only thing that would stop Player X is if Construct X used a combination maneuver like trip, or even disarm (can't really hurt anyone with no weapon).

The original jump/attack would have been treated as a charge IMC but that's irrelevant to the above discussion.

It would be something diferent if the Construct possesed the Large and in Charge feat. Then he could prevent something from coming within he's reach. And since he's large (or bigger) and probably has reach he could indeed smash the PC in the wall to protect the NPC wiz.
