So at level 8, a dagger would deal 2d4 + mod, at level 14 a handaxe would deal 3d6 + mod.</p><p></p><p>A better fix than adding attacks, which would benefit too much from ability modifiers, magic weapons, or spells to remain balanced.</p></blockquote><p></p>
