Can we just go back to arguing about the ranger?

It's plainly meant to reflect superhuman skills, so obviously ranger is a good choice for a psionic subclass.
Sarcastic...but sort of makes sense crunch-wise.

The psionic talent die should govern multi weapon fighting and animal companions.

Everybody knows that the animal companion is the psionic character and that the ranger is just the servant

I really wish they come out with real Psionic material. Not just a bunch of Wild Talented classes. Like a real Psionicist. They've had one for 3 editions, dunno why it can't be done in 5th Edition. Did they lose all sense of creativity or something because of simplifying the heck out of D&D?

They're working to work out something people actually want. They've iterated across 5 years, seems like it will be a while longer, it's a process.

They did three years ago. The community rejected it.

The difference in 5e is WotC won't touch anything that doesn't get overwhelming popular support. Earlier editions managed psionics because they where not going off feedback which automatically rejects anything new and different.
