Oh, I liked Wing Commander and X-Wing plenty, but I had a hard time getting WC2 to run recently. In more actiony games, it's harder to get DOS-BOX to deliver the needed power. Settings that worked well with X-COM sucked on WC2, and that's not counting the stability issues. The FS games work properly with XP, annoying minimization crash aside. Also, the graphics aren't so jarring.

Which versions of WC1&2 do you use, original or WC Trilogy? Any luck with WC3+? They would solve some of the graphical issues, I would think.

I liked I-War, but damn do I suck at it. The farthest I've ever gotten was the mission with the captured cruiser, IIRC. Advancing in that game was pretty painful.

Never got into it myself, but I don't think I spent enough time with it.

Civilization IV: Okay, I'm not actually playing it now, but I really, really want to! Not enough time!

That's because you're trying to playing too many games at once!

FF9 just hit the back burner, as a co-worker let me borrow Lego Star Wars.

And two will be out later this year!

By the way, once you unlock a fair number of characters I suggest walking around the outside of the cantina/bar and see what happens.

I'm thinking about two years. It's one of the younger games that's sitting around awaiting completion.

I beat a couple of games recently myself, unfortunately they were some of my most recently acquired games.
