[June] What are you playing?

well, grr. I got pretty far into Final Fantasy Tactics and ended up saving on my only file at a place where I can't go back. I'm not strong enough to get past the battles I have to get through, so I had to start over. :(

This a new one or an old one starting again? I seem to recall you building up to one before, but then I may just be thinking of the M&M game you were going to play.
This will be a new-ish game. The storyline will be similar but there will be new players and characters. And yes, I was running a M&M game but it crashed and burned. I'm involved in a Silver Age Sentinels game that is filling that current need, luckily. :)

Didn't you at least play it a little? Or was it someone else who said if I liked the first game I'd like this one as well? Boy is my memory depressingly bad.
I haven't opened the box yet but it is very possible I played a store demo. But now that I think about it, an online friend did say that it was very similiar to the first and worth the price. I just haven't gotten around to actually playing the bugger yet. When I do, I'll probably burn through it in one, maybe two sitting at the most. Same with BG&E. One most long sit-down with it and the ending will be mine. But the game is so good that I don't want to play it while I'm tired which leaves my busy weekends as the only real chance I get. Kinda frustrating...

Final Fantasy X-2 is on my "to finish" list, as well. I liked, but got distracted. Sphere break was addictive. Don't much care what they did with Blitzball though. Part of the fun of Final Fantasy X was actually playing it.
I actually hated Sphere break. LOVED blitzball. I wish the full version made it into FFX-2. Oh well.

Same thing happened with me as far as distractions go - I was burning right through it when I got a phone call that punched me right in the gut. This was in December and I have never gotten back around to playing it. But I'm not worried because I took a year off from playing FFX and still polished it off. :)

I imagine I'm about 10-12 hours away from the end right now and I'll probably try to play through it a few times to get all the endings. Time permitting of course.

Just rented Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters for the X-Box. Man that game is a blast. So simple, but so very much fun. It's wonderful getting to play a giant monster fighting another giant monster and destroying a city in the process. :)

Currently playing - Diablo 2 and Thief 2 - the Metal Age

About to start - Rise of Nations

Just finished - Kinghts of the Old Republic (as light side - dark side here I come!)

Want - Thief 3, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

You speak TRUTH!

I loved this game on the Gamecube and was very sadden that my friend sold his copy (I don't own a GC and would play when I visited - along with MarioKart)

Picked up Knights of the Old Republic this weekend, and am enjoying it pretty well--it's more fun than SP Neverwinter Nights, but nowhere near as delightful as Prince of Persia.

I have a similar problem with reading, though that just gets hard to do, with games I generally like to be able to sit down and play for hours on end without having to worry about stopping at a particular time, but finding an unlimited amount of time to do so can be problematic.

Did you ever check out Beyond Good & Evil? I still highly recommend it, and it's still cheap,.

I didn't--totally forgot about it. It's the SF reporter game, right? Looked really good, and I'd planned to make it my next game purchase. Oops!
