There are about three Trinity books besides the core on the shelf, I will call tomorrow and ask them to put those aside since you suggest it so highly.

If you like Storyteller games and the subject matter that I mention earlier, you really can't miss with Trinity (the Trinity campaign that I played in back in 2000-ish was a lot of fun). And some fo the Trinity books are very hard to find (though, as I said, you only really need the core book). The Exalted core book is a good read at $5 (well, at least the part dedicated to setting and charms).

I can't say why Bardsgate was in there, but it wasn't a mistake

You got a tremendously good deal on Bard's Gate then. It's one of the more inventive city sourcebooks that I've seen for D&D 3x, though I've only skimmed it at the game shop (other stuff always seems to win out when I have money to spend).
