Just got in Dungeon #116

Maybe in a few years we'll have a "Best 30 of d20" as opposed to D&D. I think the Judges Guild book is the only one there that's not an official TSR book. Ah well, poor old Role Aids and the host of other Heartbreaker games will get their time in the sun one day.

Actually, even Mayfair published official 2nd AD&D adventures; I have two high-level modules and a box set. If I remember exactly, after some years, the TSR tried to bring back the rights from Mayfair.

Do you have the titles for that? I know that Mayfair published a lot of semi-official goods but I can't recall their Role Aids line, or their City State of the Invincible Overlord line, doing anything like that. I know that both Shaman and Chronimancer were originally Mayfair books and wound up at 2nd ed sourcebooks.

The Mayfair products for AD&D all carried a blurb to the effect
Presented by the editors of Role Aids for use with Advanced Dungeons & Dragons role playing game. Advanced Dungeons & Dragons is a registered trademark of TSR, Inc. This use of TSR's trademark by Mayfair games is not approved by TSR
emphasis mine.
