My local FLGS is stopping their support of table top RPGs. They have recently cut down the RPG section to a very small back corner of the store and increased the warhammer and CCG sections. Sorrry, I can't support someone who does not support me. Also being unaware of my financial situation you are in no place to criticise me for saving a buck or two.

My intent was to bring up an ironic situation, since I, along with many others, are going to order our 3.5 books from walmart.com (there's a thread about this). Apparently, walmart.com has the best deals on all of these books.

And if you're in similar financial straits as I am, then I'm sorry you didn't see this thread and save a few extra bucks. Heck, you can probably still cancel your Amazon.com order, find the walmart thread, and save some cash.

You are misreading the post and not understanding that we are telling you that you have misread the post. He did not say that some gamers are "pathetic" but rather that some gamers are "apathetic" which means something decidedly different.

It's not evil but it's insensitive to our hobby and it could easily lead to a collapse of the fragile market that is RPG gaming.

...funny that apathetic gamers choose saving a buck short term over supporting their hobby long term. I understand trying to save money but I draw the line at giving it to a place like Wal-Mart.

...I have a vested interest in gaming as a whole. I've also done my best to help out my fellow gamers by offering 25% off the core books. I still have to pay rent and keep the lights on so that's the best I can do.

So, now tell me how I'm wrong about this? ;D
