Justice League

Hey "H.o.V." do the comics mention stuff about Ykthultu and the Thanagarians?

I have not read a lot of the Hawkman comics (alhtough I did follow the book for a short while) and have not read much about Thanagar at all.

Is the Nth metal the stuff that lets them fly too?

Another note about the continuing Marvelization used in the Cartoon vs. the Comics. The military force at the begging reminded me of SHEILD more than anything and I thought the Captain or whatever he was reminded me of Dugan (who just appeared in the Ultimate X-men this month)
Nope, that wasn't a "Dum Dum" Dugan clone, that was a clone of General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross, one of the Hulk's greatest enemies, not to mention his father-in-law.

I KNEW there was a reason the whole 'Hawk-nose' thing was scratching at the back of my mind! I wondered why they were playing the 'hulk' gag so heavily. Wow. That's really great stuff. Hats off to Dwayne Mcduffie for that one.

Overall, I thought it was a pretty good episode....not fantastic, but no glaring problems for me, and some great bits. Getting Oded Fehr to do Dr. Fate was just great. The realization of the Defenders parallel shot this one up a notch for me, after the fact.
Oh, and yes, the Nth metal is what let's Thanagarians fly, supposedly. But Hawkman and Hawkgirl's continuity is so messy, it makes the X-men's history look positively straightforward. :)

Yup. Even cooler, IMO, Oded Fehr was Dr. Fate. :)

ODED FEHR! LOL! I loved him in The Mummy and The Mummy Returns. I own the DVDs and watch them religously every Thursday night! I've always been a fan of the JL as well. (If it has a superman theme, it's got my vote.) Oded Fehr as Ykthulhu! DAMN! Looks like I'll be watching Justice League on a regular basis as well! My all time favorite hero and the man who playeed my all time favorite villain together! LOL! I'm in love with this! Please pinch me, I'm in heaven!

This sounds like a good episode. Does anyone remember the title (so I can have my computer record it)?
The Terror from Beyond

And yes Rob Zombie is listed in the credits as Ykthulhu.
