Kalamar product review: Harvest of Darkness

The modules I got because they are for low levels 1st- 2nd for the most part, and there aren't too many good low level modules out there.

Hmmmn. Interesting you should say that. It seems like everyone's always clammoring for higher level adventures. Perhaps it's just the mid-level ones that are too numerous?

ok, i also bought this campaign Harvest of Darkness, and this is my take on it. The first 3 quests are great, i liked their concepts, although they arnt too connected. the 4th quest just plain sucks for a quest ending. im going to have to change the last quest. the 2nd quest is my favorite tho. the templates are great, i love them. in all i think its a good buy. as soon as my freeking comic store gets the KoK PG ill be able to start it...

When did you win this module? IE: How long from your being asked for a 'snail mail' address until the time you had it in your hands? I ask because I 'won' the right to review Quest for the Unknown nearly a month ago, yet I've not recieved the module. I was just wondering if I'm being too impatient or if the poor package is yet another victim of the US Postal System?

I bought Harvest Of Darkness solely for the pseudo-vampires (Sharjani). They make an excellent alternative to regular 3e vampires and a damn scary blood cult to boot! I wasn't that thrilled with the module itself, unfortunately.

Hatchling Dragon:
I received the module within four or five days of sending Kenzer my snail mail address. Something has definitely gone awry in your case, and I'd let the fine folks at Kenzer know. I'm certain they'll quickly correct the situation.

K_K:
The Sharjani remind me of the blood cult from Thirteenth warrior. Very wicked, scary stuff -- I love it!!

I understand your dislike for the 4th adventure, but for my part, I was very pleased with the unique and diverse material presented. YMMV as always :).
