[Kanpur] The City-State of Khasan

I'm still not decided on a new name for "The City", my replacement for Sharn on Kulan.

Both Dorrea and Pýrgon were suggestions from here on EN World. Khasan received the most votes on the previous poll, both here and on The Piazza. I've also added two new options.

My replacement city for Sharn on the World of Kulan. This means that Phelix Del Cannitha originates from Khasan. Below is the city's map previous posted to the first poll thread.

I do like Pýrgon too, so I'm going to use that for the city's original ancient name from its founding. Khasan will be a much older city than Bluffside, but it won't be the oldest city in The Northwest.

I'm also going to come up with some city nicknames for Khasan. I might downplay the idea of 'towers' and/or 'spires'. I don't know yet.

Interestingly, I've just discovered that khasan (or 'khas') mean "typical" in Indonesian. Hmm, another possible alternate name: Typikós.


It is also the name of a "urban-type settlement" in Eastern Russia.
(EDIT: And a lake which the settlement is named for.)
