I'm a DM with over 30 years experience, I've recently relocated to Kansas City and I'm finally ready to start a campaign. I'm running 4E and my games involve a lot of roleplaying, terrain, and intelligence. I have a terrific gaming space (I don't play in Mom's basement, I play in MY basement), hordes of miniatures (many I paint myself), and a whole world of terrain and maps.
I'm being extra picky about my group this go-round. I'm not just looking for players, but for people I wouldn't mind hanging out with. I'm a middle-aged college educated professional with three degrees and a demanding public sector job. I'm looking for people with similar qualities, clean cut, educated, professional, with a sense of humor. I don't want to appear judgmental, but I'm not interested in investing hours out of my busy week for people who I really wouldn't spend time with otherwise. Things that are OK are older children (I have two teenagers who play) and being new to the game. Race, gender, religion, disability are not really factors (although the gaming area is not handicap friendly, but I'm willing to work with it if you are.) My home is in south Kansas City, MO near 75th and Paseo.
