Keep on the Shadowfell - on Amazon now

I am pleased to see that Orcus is still going to have clerics and is the lord of Undead (shouldn't that be Prince though).

Hopefully this means that 4th Ed will have some viable options for his faithful.

On second thoughts - I am just glad he is still a DEMON lord and hasn't joined the succubi in hell.

Looks good. It seems Orcus is in the PHB. Didn't see that coming.

I thought him being smack on the Monster Manual (in his Undying Swim Suit no less) would be a(n un)dead giveaway. :p

Heh, I just noticed this. I grew up a few miles from Winterhaven. It looks like the new implied setting will be the mythical land of Florida. :D

I hear it's deadly. A lot of old people go there and never come back!

Plus, I read somewhere that Florida often has power outages, so the points of light in the darkness are those guys with generators. :p

Yeah I agree...$30 for an adventure I can use for 1-3 lvls out of 30 doesn't seem very good bang for the buck. I think WotC is betting on alot of purchases simply fom the fact that people will want to preview the rules system, I think I'll wait till core is out first. I would have rather preferred a "quickstart" module that was a little cheaper than this type of buy in saqy in the $16 range.

Oh, I wasn't expecting anything below the $20 range - looking over the price points on books over the last year, I'm sure that they're going to use the 4e rollout to normalize their prices to the price points where paper and printing have risen to. I was expecting/hoping for something around the $25 mark actually - similar to Slaughtergarde, less content, two years later - the same price sounds reasonable, if slightly disappointing.

A $30 price point just seems like a steep rise. And it would simultaneously shatter my hopes of the core books retailing for $25 in the first print run ;)

Yep, that's one of the reasons I left. Two hurricanes hitting my house in one year was enough.

It was at $14.95 when I looked at it, so I clicked order, along with the MM so I could get the free shipping. Monster Manual was $29.00.
