My name is Tracy, and I recently wrote a highly collaborative, narrative-driven RPG called School Daze. School Daze is designed to tell awesome stories in a high school setting, using a light, flexible system. People who have played and enjoyed games like Fiasco, or many FATE-based games will find a lot to love here.
The first thing that everyone says when they hear the game is about high school is "man, but high school sucked!" Yeah, for a lot of people, it did, including me at times. School Daze isn't about real high school, though. It's about the high school we see in movies, and TV. Movies like Almost Famous, Ferris Beuller's Day Off, Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink, Fast Times as Ridgemont High, Dazed and Confused, Clueless, Heathers, Mean Girls, 10 Things I Hate About You, Superbad, and Easy A were big influences on the tone of the game.
I've got a Kickstarter running to get the game published in the form it deserves to be published in. That means Art by Brian Patterson of d20 Monkey, Layout by Daniel Solis of Do, and Happy Birthday, Robot!, and Editing by Liz Bauman of Illuminerdy. The campaign started yesterday, and we're already only $500 away from being funded. If we get over the funded mark, I've got some awesome stretch goals planned.
I'd appreciate it if you check out the campaign, and took a look at the game. It's all CC-licensed, and has been from day one. There's a link on the KS page that will take you to the game rules, if you want to give those a gander.
