Kids Easy Play RPG

I haven't seen Gingerbread men, but the best in print RPG for kids I have seen is Faery’s Tale by Firefly games. The best out o print though I think is Meddling Kids but I've not even seen used copies of it for a while.

I did find this site when looking for related products and it lists a nice summary of many RPGs for kids (some I've not even heard of).

I remember the Kid's Easy Play RPG. I may still have a PDF floating around. I'll have to check. In the meantime, I stumbled across The Magical Land of Yeld last night at RPGNow. While still in playtest, the $2.00 price tag makes it a pretty good deal. It seems like a perfect "for kids" RPG in that PCs don't actually die when they would. . . er. . . die — rather, they are merely transported away from Yeld (the titular fantasy setting). As a game, it seems to draw a lot on Narnia, The Legend of Zelda, and anime aimed at young children (not that adults can't enjoy it).
