Killer Modules

The significance of the "max damage" here isn't that the monk did loads of damage.

LOL, as the Monk in our party I tend to get all interested when someone tells a story where a Monk sounds effective. I should learn to take the issue less seriously. Anyone for another round of "Monk sucks" v. "Monk rules"? ;-)

I haven't had a lot of experience with "killer modules". The only TPK we've had recently was from a home brew.

I do have a question about RttToEE for those of you who have run it or played in it. Is it "balanced", like the other WotC stuff, for the Iconic party of 4? The reason I ask is because I'm thinking of running a sort of "pickup game" with a fairly large group of my friends (many of whom are not very experienced roleplayers). I've already told them that this module is likely to have a fairly high body count. But I'm wondering if this will be somewhat mitigated by the fact that we are likely to have 6 or more players at any given session.

Any thoughts?

Forge of Fury

Heh. This module is quite deadly.

It has that rickety-rack bridge where you can fall of and die. Then there is that big giant guy. And best of all, worst low-level module trap I have ever seen. It just barbeques and burns everyone... :)

I played rogue and survived, of course...
