As I was scrolling through channels on my digital cable remote I noticed an entry on BRAVO! for the KK trailer at 8:59 PM. Glad I didn't have to suffer through Fear Factor. Looks cool.

looked pretty awesome---i wonder what peter jackson's next movie will be----u would think he could only go down after LoTR, but KK doesnt look like a step dpwn---of course i've only seen the trailer a few time & had a few 'sips' of Canadian club

Actually, Peter Jackson's next movie looks to be the 2007 release "The Lovely Bones" based on a best selling book. Here's the plot summary...

"Based on the best selling book by Alice Sebold, The Lovely Bones is the story of a 14-year-old girl from suburban Pennsylvania who is murdered by her neighbor. She tells the story from Heaven, showing the lives of the people around her and how they have changed all while attempting to get someone to find her lost body."

I lucked out. I walked into a room that happened to be tuned in to Fear Factor, and caught the entire trailer. Until then, I had absolutely no interest in seeing King Kong, now it has climbed to near the top of the "must see" heap.

Wow, he's dropped a lot of weight. Good for him!

It looks entertaining though I've never been a King Kong fan in particular. Definitely worth a matinee or a rental though.

I just got through seeing the trailer, which showed prior to "War of the Worlds." I didn't catch the small-screen viewing, but I have to say, this movie is going to rock. Seeing Kong, the Rex, the girl, everything, it is spectacular. I didn't know that this was going to be shown in the previews, but from the opening shot, I immediately knew it was "Kong." Spectacularly faithful to the original, it seems.
