From what I've gathered on their forums, it is mostly held up due to the writing of a good user's manual.

Software is just one of those things where I usually dive into it head first--as long as I know it won't screw up my computer. Waiting several months for a user's manual seems pointless when I could have figured things out on my own well before then.

I was all for this after GenCon, but now it just seems like I'm waiting for the sake of waiting. :\

Well, it seems we're in luck, as 2.0 will be released by the end of this month!

Good for me, who just found it, not so good for everyone who's been waiting since last summer, I'm afraid.
