Knight con bonus to damage

Knight, MC to Warden, get the Crippling Crush feat, use Defend the Line stance(slows on all of your attacks). Presto, bonus con damage to all attacks.

Seems legit at first glance. Any thoughts?

Yes, looks like it works. I wonder if this will prompt an update to crippling crush, so that it only works with warden attack powers or something like that.

I'm not sure if it's nerf worthy. Two feats for +3 or +4 to damage. Have to use hammers or maces. And aren't you restricted to one multiclass feat? It's tempting to try though. Too bad I have a ton of characters I'm dying to play first. =)

Presto, bonus con damage to all melee basic attacks.

Seems legit at first glance. Any thoughts?

Small correction but otherwise seems correct. Doesn't seem too bad either to be honest.

So you get +Con to damage, but you have to be using Defend the Line and a melee basic attack. You don't get the benefit on your Encounter Powers or if you switch to another stance. Plus you have had to use your one multiclass feat, to qualify as a Warden for Crippling Crush.

The Fighter can already do a similar trick by MC into Warden for Crippling Crush and using Tide of Iron with either Bloodhound Style, or Hindering Shield.

Interestingly Deadly Immobilization does the same sort of thing but is limited to swordmage powers.

I thought of the same thing when I first saw the power, it should work. Add in Vicious Advantage and Hammer Shock, for a few more boosts to those basic attacks. Fighters don't really need a multiclass all that much since they their paragon paths are pretty fantastic to begin with. And with Defender of the Wild they get access to Perception which is a good enough training on its own, even if the marking is kind of pointless unless you get attacked in your sleep or something without your defender aura, and don't have the action to activate it.

Damn, I was thinking of posting that concept... Oh well.

Yes, it's a very good idea. Slow-ing is almost always the kind of status condition a defender wants to hand out, as it makes the "I'll willingly take that one hit if it means I get away from this guy" approach unworkable.

Warden is a great MC for a Fighter because it allows you to take Perception as your free skill, and it opens up all of the Primal feats that are not class-specific. There are even a few cool Paragon Paths that work without any hitches, if you want to add some interesting flavor: Storm Sentinel, Child of the North Wind and First Hunter.

I'm also intrigued by the idea of a Dragonborn Knight with Iron Vanguard and Draconic Arrogance using the Hammer Hands stance. Any work been done on that concept yet?
