Knights of the Old Republic Campaign Guide

So that they're obviously different from hardcover, non-gaming Star Wars reference books, apparently.

Yeah, the big bummer of the new format is that they don't look nearly so pretty next to my Star Wars "New Essential" guides, which are 8.5X11. Oh well.

Bah! Del Rey haven't updated their Essential Guide series since Episode 3 came out.

What are they waiting for? The TV series? :\

Bwuh? I've got the New Essential Chronology, New Essential Guide to Droids, and New Essential Guide to Alien Species on my bookcase, all post-RotS with Episode III material, and Jedi vs. Sith: The Essential Guide to the Force just hit bookstores this week.

What about Vehicles and Vessels? Weapons and Technology? They're updated to contain Episode 2 and New Jedi Order elements, but none from Episode 3. :\

When are they getting to those?

Ah, I see. No idea; the Essential Atlas is slated for next year, but beyond that, no news. I think that with the continued expansion of the Star Wars universe, we may be stuck with either rolling updates or a completely new approach to things once this wave finishes out.

Despite past comments about the validity of such a book (especially with no new video games for the era in the offing), I'm certainly looking forward to it.

There is the Knights of the Old Republic comic, though; as it enters its third year, it looks like there's going to be a marketing push for the new story arc that starts in January, so the rulebook would tie into that nicely.

Well, when they get to updating Vehicles and Vessels they better not be contradicting Starships of the Galaxy, which should be out now or by the end of the year.

Well, I'm sure it will be out by then end of A year - though I doubt it will be this one. :\

DO you have any evidence for this suspicion or are you just having a gripe. SotG's release date has never moved and all indications to date (the product listing with distributors and the previews) are that it will be met
