Kobold Wizard

Min/max advice:

Go for sorcerer instead of wizard. Take Draconic Rite of Passage, and then at sixth level undergo the Greater Draconic Rite of Passage. It's like a free level.

Also, start off as venerable, since as a dragon (since you're a dragonwrought kobold) you don't have any physical stat decreases from age. This *technically* also qualifies you for epic feats, but no GM in his right mind would let you get away with it.

It's probably too late, but you might be able to work something from this advice into your character.

Heh, yeah, I went with:

Wizard 7 (immediate magic [PHB2])/Loremaster 6/Archmage 3/Loremaster +4 (10)

Feats:
1 Dragonwrought (RP)
* Scribe Scroll
3 Chain Spell
* Quicken Spell
6 Skill Focus (Knowledge [Dungeoneering]) (aberration heavy campaign)
9 Spell Focus (Transmutation)
* Spell Focus (Something)
12 Skill Focus (Spellcraft)
15 Something
18 Something (Improved Toughness?)

Yeah, I wanted to play a really intelligent character though, and to learn a lot of spells, and to play a kobold, so I mixed them all together.

Wow though, Draconic Rites of Passage are pretty cool. If I ever get into a Kobold-y mood again, I'll definately remember that!

To the Kobold warmage - I have a similar character in the campaign I DM, but he didn't want -4 str -2 con (he's not really a min-max'er), so he went.. half elf, permanently "polymorphed" (more of a disguise self though) into a big kobold... Yeah. Weird.
