KotOR 2

Welverin

First Post
I just got the latest issue of EGM (178) and right at the end in the next issue blurb they go on about how they'll have a big article in the following issue (sounds like there will be one in CGW the same month).

I don't know. It's the April issue of EGM, so there's always something fake in there.

I'd love to see a KotOR 2, but figuring out exactly what to do with it, story-wise, is kind of tough. Do they make Star Wars: Knights of the Older Republic, where you run Jolee Bindo and friends through Exar Kun's war; Star Wars: Knights of the Not-quite-as-old Republic -- set a few centuries after KotOR, where the characters of the previous game are largely dead and gone; Star Wars: Epic Star Wars where you pick up from the end of the last game with the same characters, who were almost certainly 20th level by the end of the game; or
Star Wars: The Last Time I Played This, I Ended Up an Evil Overlord, where you have to stop the lead from the last game, as it assumes your last character fell to the Dark Side
.

That wasn't it... that fake part was
The Lord of the Rings Kart game, which was revealed in the issue I just got in the mail. Look at the race time in the screen shot. Too bad, because, while it's an odd concept, the screenshot looked REALLY cool, doing an excellent job of combining the two dissparate genres

I was thinking they might drop another April Fool's joke in the May issue (where the KotOR 2 sidebar appeared); any subscriber will get the May issue before April 1.

It may be out by April 1st, but it's not the April issue. The same thing happens every year and such a thing hasn't happened yet (their first April fools joke was way back in '92), so if you're only reason for not believing it is because you can't see where they would go with it story wise (as if that ever stops anyone), I see no reason to buy into you’re doubts.
