KotS and other modules to integrate Dungeon Tiles?

Stormtower

First Post
A question to the board in general, or perhaps to any WotC design team who are reading:

Are the new H-series modules designed to use Dungeon Tiles as an integral (albeit optional) part of the experience? I hope this is the case. I loved Red Hand of Doom, for example, but there were precious few opportunities in that mod to use my tiles.

I have hopes that many of the non "battle map" encounters in the new modules will in fact be integrated more tightly with the dungeon tiles. This could enable one to more easily re-create the maps for the modules in DDI's tabletop... or WotC could just pre-publish the maps in DDI for subscribers, using the pre-set tiles.

Any word on this sort of integration in the paper or digital realm for the upcoming modules?

Even if they don't I am more than willing (and able) to alter maps to fit my tiles. I have a massive collection of them and love 'em to bits!

I went and spent 70 dollars on a bunch of tiles in anticipation of 4E so I really hope they include adventure support for them. (Maybe DDI content?)

Please test out my adventure (see my sig). The dungeon was designed using one set of each Dungeon Tiles Arcane Corridors and Hidden Crypts. It uses almost all the tiles in both these sets. If you are using Jai's Dungeon Tiles Mapper, you can import the following string (you'll have to remove the spaces and line endings, the forum didn't like it as one long string):

I've had very little feedback on this adventure, so I'd really appreciate someone else giving it a run-through and letting me know what they think.

On first look-through, I saw no KotS tie-in with the Dungeon Tiles.

Thanks, Thalmin. I am a bit disappointed in this decision, but not really surprised. I've been waiting for WotC to more tightly integrate the tiles for a year+ now.

Yeah, I have been as well. It seems like a great opportunity to integrate their marketing and sales, to design their published modules so that the dungeon tiles can be used easily.
